    A dynamic Architecture studio with an inquisitive and revolutionary approach to design is seeking an outstanding Operations Manager to drive forward business growth and foster a competitive working environment. Committed, empathetic and ready to initiate and implement societal progression within a busy studio space, this individual will work closely with the industry-renowned Directors and develop a strategic business overview.

    We require candidates that are natural leaders and inspire confidence from all levels of internal and external stakeholders. Equally, you will be able to influence team members and continually improve working strategies in conjunction with key objectives. As internal roles evolve with shifting changes in project requirements, the Operations Manager will be an integral part of adapting the working landscape and orchestrating pivotal advances.

    Working within an engaged and driven support team, you will line-manage a Receptionist and Marketers. With a strong finance component, the Operations Manager will be a commercially-aware individual who will regularly liaise with external Accountants and a Bookkeeper. Demonstrated experience in the creative industry is essential as well as a passion for enabling avant-garde approaches to Architecture.

    A solid working understanding of CMAP or similar Project Accounting software is highly desirable.

    A multi award-winning Architecture Studio with an industry-leading reputation for beautiful and sensitive design requires an engaging Bid Coordinator to implement strategy as well as construct winning documents and proposals. A fast-paced and rewarding role working to tight deadlines, experience of working in a similar role for at least 4 years within the Built Environment is essential.

    The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in managing multi-million pound bids and the challenges inherent in these submissions. Confident communicating at all levels, from key stakeholders to projects teams and developers, you will excel at making complex information accessible and exciting.

    Equally creative and logistical, managing the submissions portal is vital alongside analysing bid wins/losses to devise improved working strategies and secure future projects. Prior knowledge of OJEU processes is crucial as well as searching international new work opportunities in agreed sectors and territories. Your fantastic and finely tuned InDesign skills will be used constantly to create high-quality bid submissions. From conception to completion, you will oversee the entire process.

    This is an autonomous role within a busy working environment, coordinating with counterparts nationwide to produce the highest quality PQQs, EOIs and bid submissions.

    Are you a diligent and proactive individual seeking a new opportunity in an internationally recognised architectural studio? We have a fantastic opportunity to join a recognised practice on a maternity cover basis, supporting the business management functions of a busy, fast-paced team based in Colchester.

    Reporting directly to the Business Management Director, the successful candidate will bring the ability to assess the impact of legislation and actively promote compliance, and have a detailed understanding of ISO standards, and possess knowledge of corporate structures and entities. Ideally you will have 2-3 years’ experience of working within a business support role in the Professional Services sector, preferably with prior roles in Architecture, Engineering or Construction. You will organise and attend internal compliance audits and reporting, attend management review meetings, taking detailed minutes, you’ll also be supporting the Office Managers with external audits, and communicating audit findings as well as promoting ISO awareness.

    A diverse remit that is a crucial role within the company, you will also be overseeing aspects related to health and safety and risk management. You will hold a high-attention to detail, be skilled in problem-solving and have fantastic analytical skills.
