    Exemplar Design Studio seeks Focused Document Controller for Fixed Term Contract

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a methodical Document Controller to join a sociable and sustainability-minded team, on a full-time maternity cover contract of 9-12 months.

    Operating alongside an IT Manager and other support team members, the Document Controller will oversee a myriad of responsibilities which will include liaising with project teams, clients and Consultants to upload, download and share drawings, reports and specifications across extranet sites. Communicating with external system support advisors to ensure the consistently smooth running of electronic platforms, maintaining superb standards of quality control across all documents, updating Document Management system drawing register and issuing electronic and hard copies of drawings and documents.

    To be considered for this opportunity you must have at least 3 years’ experience overseeing Document Control for Architecture, Engineering, Construction or other Built Environment-related companies, with a strong working knowledge of EDMS and Excel as well as a solid foundation in AutoCAD. Understanding of Revit and Deltek is advantageous, but not essential.

    Celebrated multi-disciplinary design firm seeks a proactive individual to join the team as Office Manager. You will be joining a hard-working and dedicated support team and overseeing facilities-related duties in all UK studios; this role however will be based in London studio.

    A broad role within a fast-paced studio, the Office Manager will manage front of house and reception, oversee all cleaning, facilities, security and fire extinguisher contracts and procedures. On a daily basis the Office Manager will be overseeing health and safety procedures, preparing and managing facilities budgets and liaising with landlords.

    This role requires a flexible and proactive mindset, alongside excellent communication and coordination skills. The Office Manager will attend and contribute to all management meetings, prepare papers for quarterly Executive Board meetings and coordinate staff welfare group activities such as organising Christmas parties and events.
