    Ambitious Studio Assistants wanted! Blossoming Architecture Studio seeking Part-time Support

    £25,000 - £30,000 p.a. (FTE)

    Are you a driven Studio Assistant with the ability to take clear direction and learn new processes quickly? A burgeoning Architecture and Interior Design Practice are searching for a part-time Studio Manager to assist in the implementation of key support duties. This role is for 2-3 days a week with the option of flexi-hours for the successful candidate.

    Working alongside two inspiring and supportive Directors, you will receive training across HR, Marketing, New Business and Finance and, as you develop within the position, will increasingly become more independent with implementing these. To specify, this will include:

    • Becoming the first point of contact for all HR enquiries: absences and sickness, holiday requests, pension auto-enrolment, drafting staff contracts, improving office policies, recruitment and arranging annual reviews
    • Website and social media content creation
    • Preparing award submissions
    • Liaising with Press and drafting media releases
    • Researching new business opportunities
    • Raising invoices and reconciling incoming payments
    • Coordinating payroll with an external Accountant
    • Overseeing expenses and collating receipts
    • Setting up new projects on project scheduling software
    • Assisting Senior Management and chairing meetings to prepare Financial Forecasts, Financial Reviews and Fee Proposals

    As a proficient Studio Assistant, this role will include additional responsibilities that you should be familiar with. Supervising front of house by welcoming visitors, organising refreshments, sorting post, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and ordering office supplies/consumables will make up a significant part of the position’s remit.

    To be considered, you must have proven experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, whilst understanding of Photoshop and InDesign will be highly desirable.

    Respected Architectural Practice seeks a Senior Marketing Coordinator or Marketing Manager for a fixed-term contract of 6-8 weeks. This position would suit an individual with strong and industry-relevant marketing experience who is seeking a short-term opportunity to work within an industry-leading studio, famed for its award-winning design portfolio.

    The role comprises of marketing and new business remit. Successful candidate will be liaising with project teams, producing content for press releases, award entries and other marketing collateral. Sharp analytical and I.T skills required as you will be monitoring and recording all press coverage, producing and managing social media activities across various channels and updating Practice website and intranet.

    Other responsibilities will include filtering and directing general marketing enquiries, responding e-mails, compiling weekly communications reports, sourcing and researching new business opportunities via tender portals, creating synopses for review by senior staff, preparing OJEU and similar submissions.

    A fast-paced and dynamic role! To be considered, the candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of Marketing or Communications experience within an Architecture company. It is similarly important to have a broad and informed knowledge of the Built Environment when speaking with stakeholders and clients.

    Proficiency across InDesign, Photoshop and CMS is highly desirable.
